Breaking Ground — Clementine and Sage

Spent a lot of hours this weekend with this view : straight down (30 inches) and into a hole that will soon hold a fence post in our front yard. That is, when sweat wasn’t running into my eyes - that hard Colorado clay put up one heck of a fight!

But we also got to do a little of this…

And eat a few of these (kolaches - a Czech treat we make using my great-grandma’s recipe) to regain our strength.

I also MAY have finished a new Laurels necklace - but more on that soon! It’s time for me to catch a few winks before the week begins anew…
